Iran War: Cost Impact

Iran War: World impact

The impact of the war in Iran is being felt far beyond its borders – and for the children we serve, the consequences are immediate.
Rising fuel and food costs are putting intense pressure on our teams across every programme.
In Pakistan, soaring fuel prices have sparked fears of a Covid-style lockdown. Fuel is critical – for cooking meals and reaching more than 1,500 children in brick kilns each week. Without it, that work stops.
In Uganda and Kenya, the strain is growing. Food prices are rising, fuel is scarce, and the cost of sustaining even basic care is increasing daily.

Urgent appeal launched

One By One remains committed to showing up for children who have already faced exploitation and abuse. In the face of global instability, the need for consistent, long-term support has never been greater.
This is a rare and urgent appeal.
Your support today will help cover essential fuel and food costs, sustain frontline teams, and ensure that vulnerable children are not left without care at a critical moment.
Can you help the mission continue?

“We can’t control war or rising costs, but we can choose whether we step in or step back – and at One By One, stepping back is not an option,”

Becky Murray, CEO.

Give today

Rising fuel and food costs are putting vital work at risk – but the need has not changed.
Fuel keeps our teams moving. Food keeps children cared for. Without both, vulnerable children are left exposed.
Your support today will help sustain frontline teams and ensure children continue to receive the care they urgently need.
If you can, please stand with us at this critical moment.
